Charlbury next stop for Hailey

Hailey Cricket Club are now well over 100 years old, They are proudly affiliated to the Oxfordshire Cricket Association and have won most of the competitions the OCA offer at some time or other.

The club play home games at Burford Road,Witney, just outside of Hailey, although the club still has strong links with the villiage, using the local Pub, as it's Headquarters.

The ground has a wonderful setting, with plenty of room for spectators and children to play around in.

In recent times the club has won the Telegraph Cup in 1999, with a win against Faringdon, Divisional winners and numerous 'Clack' knockout cup winners to their name.

Its fair to say the club has a competitive side to it, and enjoys the local derby games that the seasons bring.

2009 will see Hailey start in Division 4 of the OCA after retaining their status last season, the side continues with a strong youth approach.

Hailey will be captained this season by Andy Wood with Sean King taking the vice role
