Hailey Cricket Club are now well over 100 years old, They are proudly affiliated to the Oxfordshire Cricket Association and have won most of the competitions the OCA offer at some time or other.
The club play home games at Burford Road,Witney,just outside of Hailey, although the club still has strong links with the villiage,using the local Pub, as it's Headquarters.
The ground has a wonderful setting, with plenty of room for spectators and children to play around in.
In recent times the club has won the Telegraph Cup in 1997, with a win against Faringdon, Divisional winners and numerous 'Clack' knockout cup winners to their name.
Its fair to say the club has a competitive side to it, and enjoys the local derby games that the seasons bring.
2007 will see Hailey start in Division 5 of the OCA after consecutive relagations, although the club now with a strong youth policy are confident Hailey will rise again.
Hailey will be Captained this season by Sean King.
Brian King remains as Chairman and will oversee the youngsters
Injuries have plagued Hailey to life in Division 4, with Andy Wood breaking his ankle,Paul King recovering from elbow surgery and several other players struggling from their fantastic football season, Hailey fell at Combe in their opening match of the season.
Rob Webb making 36 on a damp wicket out of a total of just 61, but the captains efforts were in vain as Combe knocked the runs off for a single wicket.
